Alpaca Herdsires – Now Standing Stud at Peaceful Heart Alpacas
(Near the bottom of the page, you will find Peaceful Heart Alpacas next generation of herdsires. Chosen for the genetic diversity and great fiber characteristics they will add to our herd, look for these boys to be available for breedings starting in 2013.)
Peaceful Heart´s Lord Tennyson
Snowmass Casanova´s Arch Angel
FG Powergrid
FG Gryffyn
Gryffyn is a beautiful two toned Silver Gray alpaca with incredible fleece. He has wonderful staple length and fleece you just want to sink into.
We have been thrilled with the fineness he has been passing on to his crias. His 2010 cria Hyppogryff had an AFD of 16.4 at 10 months of age. So far in breeding him to black, we have gotten two gray and one black cria and they all are lovely. His beautiful black cria Liberte sold as soon as he was weaned. The two grays are especially striking alpacas in their markings and both have quickly become farm favorites.
Call to schedule a breeding with this wonderful gray herdsire today and add his fine, gray genes to your herd.

Peaceful Heart´s Regal Copper
ARI# 32057638; D.O.B. 10/4/2010; Medium Brown
Part of our next generation
Sire: My Peruvian Fire-N-Ice; ARI# 827637; Medium Silver Gray
Dam: FG Lystra; ARI# 814489; Medium Fawn
Regal Copper is beautiful. He’s was very large at birth (25 pounds), and is continuing to grow fast. At just 8 months, he weighed over 100 pounds. He comes from a family of large and award winning alpacas on his dam’s side. His half-brothers Lord Tennyson and Asa Lee have won numerous First Place Ribbons and Championships. His sire is My Peruvian Fire-N-Ice, a full Peruvian, silver grey, Color Champion. We expect Regal to continue the family tradition of show wins, and will be entering him in shows this fall.
He has incredible genetics from both his dam and sire. Regal combines the lines of Caligula and El Patron and The Silversmith through his dam and Silvio on his sire’s side. He has a lovely dense fleece with beautiful crimp and soft hand. His conformation and presence is regal, just like his name. We are keeping Regal Copper to add a lovely brown herdsire to our farm beginning in 2013.

Part of our next generation
Sire: FG Gryffyn; ARI# 30466715; Medium Silver Gray
Dam: Peaceful Heart´s Sharyn; ARI# 31076289; True Black
Hyppogryff is a true beauty. He´s the first you notice in the pasture and has an incredibly fine fleece that you can´t stop touching (AFD 16.4 at 10 months). His blanket is a very consistent medium silver gray, with white and dark gray on the rest of his body and face which combine to create a beautiful alpaca. He has correct conformation and a wonderfully sweet personality. All around a great future herdsire, and part of Peaceful Heart Alpacas’ 2011 showstring.

J Dubs 40 of Peaceful Heart
ARI# 32057621; D.O.B. 8/17/2010; Light Fawn
Part of our Next Generation
Sire: Snowmass Royal Thunder; ARI# 8031083; Dark Fawn
Dam: Peaceful Heart´s Bonnie Alice; ARI# 31076296; Light Brown
J Dubs, or Dubbie, is a beauty who keeps getting better each day. He has a sweet face and personality and incredibly dense, soft fleece. His dam, Bonnie Alice, is one of our most dense girls on the farm. We bred her to Royal Fawn son, Royal Thunder, who has sheared up to 15 pounds in a year.
From the looks of Dubbie, the denseness we hoped to pass on with this breeding was achieved. He sheared 5 pounds at just 9 months of age. We expect him to develop into a phenomenal herdsire.

Tennyson’s Becket of Peaceful Heart
ARI# 32057669; D.O.B. 6/23/2011; Medium Fawn
Part of our next generation
Sire: Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson; ARI# 31076296; White
Dam: Peaceful Heart’s Henrietta Ruth; ARI# 31076357; Dark Brown
Tennyson’s Becket hit the ground apparently knowing that he is one impressive little boy. He walks around the pasture with a sense that he knows he is a special alpaca. The product of a breeding between our Reserve Color Champion Lord Tennyson and our dark beauty Henrietta Ruth, Becket was born with beautiful, dense fleece in an incredibly consistent color from toes to nose. He is a curious and very gentle boy who likes to stay at his mama’s side (that easily accessible milk supply may be why he is growing so fast). The most impressive feature displayed in Becket, though, is not his perfect conformation, beautiful head, or regal manner, it is his fleece. Becket is showing the incredible density of his sire, with deeply crimped bundles, and the fabulous fineness of both his parents, with a fleece you just want to sink your hands in as you give this boy a hug.
Look for Becket in the showring beginning next year, and in Peaceful Heart Alpaca’s breeding program beginning in 2014.
