FG Lystra
ARI# 814489 D.O.B. 6/12/2001; Medium Fawn
Sire: Peruvian El Patron; ARI#156690; White
Dam: Autumn RLF; ARI#813648; Dark Brown
Service Sire: FG Powergrid; ARI# 134529; White
Due Date: October 2012
Lystra has provided a strong foundation for our herd. She is a beautiful, large alpaca with a lovely fawn fleece. A Caligula granddaughter through her sire El Patron, and from The Silversmith line through her dam, Lystra has the genetics to produce beautiful crias.
She has been doing just that. She has given us six incredible crias. Her 2006 cria, Sunrise Surprise “Sunny” is now producing her own fabulous crias. In 2007, Lystra produced a fabulous male, Lord Tennyson, who has won numerous awards, including Reserve Color Champion, and saw his first fabulous crias born in 2011. In 2008, we were pleased to welcome Asa Lee to our herd. The fineness and hand of his fleece has won multiple First Place ribbons and the Highest Scoring Brown Huacaya Alpaca at the 2011 AOBA Nationals and MAPACA Spin-Offs. In September 2009 we greeted beautiful Pirate’s Luck. Yet another cria with incredible fleece, 15.9 microns at 20 months of age. Lystra’s 2010 cria with multiple award-winning My Peruvian Fire ‘n Ice is another gorgeous boy, Regal Copper. His fleece is incredibly dense with tight bundles of shiny copper fleece, and he is already showing the same size and strong frame of his siblings. As is Lightening Bolt, Lystra’s 2011 cria. He is a beautiful white junior herdsire with incredible fleece.
Lystra is bred to our award-winning herdsire Powergrid for her October 2012 cria. This same combination produced Asa Lee in 2008 and Lightening Bolt in 2011.

Peaceful Heart’s Ima Joy
ARI# 30815025; D.O.B. 6/26/2007; Multicolor
Sire: Michael Juan; ARI#803360; Light Brown
Dam: Keana Natasha; ARI#825838; White
Service Sire: FG Powergrid; ARI# 134529; White
Due Date: October 2012
Ima Joy’s name fits her perfectly. She is a joy to be around and gives kisses freely. Ima’s fleece has lovely small brown spots throughout with a couple of larger spots to match her pretty face. As her fleece grows out, they get harder to see, but they are there when you shear. Ima’s fleece is also a joy to work with. She has won first place ribbons at the 2008 VAOBA Spin-Off, 2009 AOBA National Spin-Off and 2010 VAOBA Spin-Off.
Ima gave birth to her first cria in May 2010. Her son Joyful Joyful is a beauty and sold soon after he was weaned. His first shearing at 11 months of age had an average fiber diameter of 16.8 microns! Ima proved herself to be a great mother, with plenty of milk.
In 2011, Ima Joy gave birth to a lovely girl out of Snowmass Casanova’s Arch Angel, Angelica. She has also proven herself to be an invaluable member of the farm by being willing to take on a 6 week old orphan cria and nurse him along side Angelica.

Peaceful Heart’s Henrietta Ruth
ARI# 31076357; D.O.B. 10/4/2007; Dark Brown
Sire: Snowmass Black Diamond; ARI# 841159; Bay Black
Dam: Tequila CODI W1201; ARI# 139512; Dark Brown
Service Sire: Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson; ARI# 31076296; White
Due Date: September 2012
Henrietta Ruth, “Ruthie”, has grown into a true beauty who is a great foundation for our herd. Both her sire and dam are known for their fine fiber, so we are counting on her to maintain that fineness as well as her dam Tequila has. Ruthie has the great feel to her fleece that marks her as one of Tequila’s girls.
Ruthie was first bred to WA Nube Blanca, a lovely, dense white male with the bloodlines of Emilio and Timoteo. This pairing produced a spectacular little girl with golden fleece in June 2010. Ruthie is proving to be as good a mom as her own dam. She had such an easy delivery, that Ruthie kept eating during labor right up until her little girl was born. She is an attentive mom, and her little one, June Delight, was active and nursing well immediately.
We bred Ruthie to our Champion herdsire Lord Tennyson, and were thrilled with their boy, Tennyson’s Becket of Peaceful Heart, in June 2011. He has unbelievable presence and has the incredible fleece, conformation, and beautiful head to support the attitude. He will be following his sire into the show ring as soon as he is old enough.
We were so impressed with how Becket has turned out that we repeated the breeding for a 2012 cria.

Peaceful Heart’s Electric Snow
ARI# 31423915; D.O.B. 6/17/2008; White
Sire: FG Powergrid; ARI# 134529; White
Dam: BHA Peruvian Snow Crystal; ARI# 842813; White
Service Sire: Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson; ARI# 31076296; White
Due Date: October 2012
Electric Snow’s name was inspired by her parents’ names and the brightness of her fleece. She has a beautiful face and wonderful fleece. Her sister has an impressive show record, including a Color Championship. Her sire has also won numerous awards for his fabulous fleece. We are very excited about the quality of the first offspring of our herdsire FG Powergrid. (Snow’s heritage is 15/16 Peruvian, 1/16 Chilean.) Electric Snow has won a third place ribbon at the 2010 Carolina Alpaca Celebration Spin Off.
Snow and our Reserve Color Champion Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson have produced Timbuctoo (born 10-18-11), a future champion with great genetics, including Peruvian Hemingway, Chaparral, King and Demetrio, Bueno, Caligula and El Patron. Timbuctoo will be for sale when he weans. Snow has been rebred to Lord Tennyson for an October 2012 cria.

Pirate’s Treasure of Peaceful Heart
ARI# 31874885; D.O.B. 6/13/2009; Light Brown
Sire: LSC Tropical Pirate; ARI# 30528284; Light Brown
Dam: BHA Peruvian Snow Crystal; ARI# 842813; White
Service Sire: Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson; ARI# 31076296; White
Due Date: May 2012
Treasure is a beautiful girl who is very expressive and will tell you exactly what she’s thinking. A real hummer, Treasure comes right up to give kisses and see what you are doing. Treasure is never left out at food time. She knows how to stand up for herself and get her share.
Treasure is the exact image of her award winning sire, Tropical Pirate. She has great genetic lines on both sides (including Demetrio and Matador), and a Color Champion sister on her dam’s side. I love the feel of her fleece.
Treasure has bred with our champion Lord Tennyson for a May 2012 cria.

Peaceful Heart’s Sugar Cookie
ARI# 31423946; D.O.B. 9/15/2008; Light Fawn
Sire: FG Powergrid; ARI# 134529; White
Dam: Tequila CODI W1201; ARI# 139512; Dark Brown
Service Sire: Peaceful Heart’s Lord Tennyson; ARI# 31076296; White
Due Date: May 2012
One of my favorite alpacas. When my son saw her when she was first born, he said she looked like a sugar cube. After she sat up and we got a good look at her, he decided she reminded him more of a sugar cookie with her white neck and legs and very light fawn blanket. We all agreed that he had found the perfect name (David is responsible for the most creative names on the farm).
Our third cria from Powergrid, she definitely shows what he can produce. Sugar Cookie’s mother Tequila continues to be one of our best producers, and Sugar Cookie is living up to her reputation. She has the same incredibly fine fleece of both parents and a wonderfully sweet personality.
We bred Sugar Cookie to our Reserve Color Champion and multiple First Place winning Lord Tennyson, and they produced a gorgeous light fawn male cria on May 17. Tennyson’s Milton has dense, silky fleece in tight bundles. He has the potential to be a great herdsire and show alpaca like his sire.
We liked the combination so much, we have repeated the breeding for a May 2012 cria.

Peaceful Heart’s June Delight
ARI# 31874847; D.O.B. 6/29/2010; Light Brown; Unproven Female
Sire: WA Nube Blanca; ARI# 841373; White
Dam: Peaceful Heart’s Henrietta Ruth; ARI# 31076357; Dark Brown
June Delight is our first cria from our dark brown beauty Henrietta Ruth. June was born with great conformation and a lovely crimpy fleece in a golden color. She is full of energy and is growing fast. We love her “teddy bear” face, which she inherited from her sire, WA Nube Blanca, a beautiful white herdsire with the genetic lines of Peruvian Emilio, Peruvian King and the late Peruvian Timoteo.
June will begin her breeding career next year, and we look forward to having her as part of our breeding program.

Peaceful Heart’s Shareen
ARI# 32057676; D.O.B. 11/3/2010; Medium Silver Gray, Light Silver Gray, Light Rosegray
Sire: FG Gryffyn; ARI# 30466715; Medium Silver Gray
Dam: FG Shehrazad; ARI# 820043; True Black
Shareen is the result of a great combination, our fine fleeced gray herdsire Gryffyn and our true black beauty Shehrazad. She is a lovely girl with crimpy, gray fleece in shades of silver and rosegray. We will be keeping her as part of our foundation herd.
Shareen is growing beautifully, and will be ready to begin breeding in 2012. We are excited about having this gray beauty as a part of our breeding program.
