Welcome

Along one of America’s most scenic roads, you will find Peaceful Heart Alpacas.  Our 27 acre, alpaca farm is located at Mile Post 204 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just a few miles from the Virginia/North Carolina border.  We have been blessed over the years to wake up to pastures full of beautiful animals and a fiber arts studio and store located in our 100 year old farm house.

We have sold our farm. We do have some lovely yarns and fiber from our alpacas in our Etsy shop.  We are offering a 20% discount on everything in our store for those who visit our webpage here.  You may use this link, or enter the coupon code PHA2019.

We loved every aspect of raising alpacas, from our time with them each day to spinning and creating with their fiber. Our family was dedicated to raising alpacas with gentle temperaments and excellent fiber in a peaceful environment for alpacas and people.  We are happy that our alpacas have all found new homes where they are thriving, and love getting pictures of them and their crias.

We are no longer offering fiber art classes at our farm, but you can find fiber art classes in our area.  Karen Simpson has taught our fun wet felting classes for years, and continues to teach classes.  You can learn more at her webpage.  Cobb Hill Alpacas has a local alpaca shop and farm to visit and teaches weaving on the triangle loom classes.  Contact them for more details.
